We have a passion!  We believe that the time has arrived for each of us to wake up and take a look around and say “What can I do, however small, to make a difference in my own life, in my own neighborhood or community? How can I make a difference in reducing the amount of garbage that goes to the landfill each year, while being able to provide my family with locally grown, nutritious, and affordable food?” 

We have a commitment to be a positive force in changing the way our neighborhoods & communities take responsibility for their own future; to bring organizations and neighbors together in a network of common goals. 

We CAN go from garbage to garden; we CAN be responsible stewards of our planet by cold composting and reducing landfill mass; we CAN provide locally grown food for everyone through year-round greenhouses and community gardens.
